DO YOU IDENTIFY WITH ANY OF THESE?
These are some of the most common struggles parents face trying to support their special needs children enrolled in school
I don’t know how to start the process and request an evaluation for a 504 or an IEP.
The 504 plan or IEP program does not respond to my child’s needs.
Teachers are not following the IEP PROGRAM established for my child.
I don’t FULLY understand the letters and reports sent by the school.
I don’t know how to properly reply the school to get their attention in regard to the IEP program or 504 plan for my child.
I don’t know how to send a written request to the school.
I don’t know what is my role and rights as a member of the IEP team for my child.
I don’t know how to propose objectives, modifications and adaptations for the IEP of my child.
I don’t know how to do follow up to the implementation of the IEP program for my child.
I don’t know how to manage my emotions during meetings (I cry or get angry).
My opinion is not considered to make decisions for my child, so I remain quiet during the IEP meetings.

WHAT OTHER PARENTS SAY ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENCE WITH MY SERVICES
“I came to Sandra recommended by other family. Sandra’s approach during my free consultation was very useful. I got the advocacy package. She is very warm and approachable. She understood me as a woman and as a mother, and put herself in my shoes. She accompanied me to the meetings with the school. She is bilingual, so she was able to help me understand the language, and she understood the terminology, to defend the rights of my daughter. We got great results for my daughter. I would give her a 10 for her services, and would not doubt to recommend her to other parents that need support with their 504 or IEP.”
“Sandra is a professional. When I had a need with my daughter, regarding a problem we had at school, I contacted her, and she quickly knew how to approach the situation; and the steps I had to take to defend my daughter’s rights as a student. She is very knowledgeable about the subject and the suggestions she gave me were excellent, because I was able to know exactly how to talk to the teachers, the school counselor and the school principal. The counselor treated me very well, because of the knowledge and advice I received from Sandra. I would recommend it 100%, its excellent the work she does.”
